What is Blackbaud Works?

A team of highly skilled Raiser’s Edge professionals able to hit the ground running to help you get the job done just the way you want it done. Blackbaud Works’ initial startup is quick and painless and within 48 hours of committing, your project is underway. The resource personnel you get are skilled and flexible, and can do everything from putting data into The Raiser’s Edge, running gift batches, sending out letters (at the right time), updating contacts, running imports and queries, and conducting strategic planning to helping you create and execute major gift programs and capital campaigns. It’s a team of Blackbaud employee resources doing things your way.

When do I need to use Blackbaud Works?

Any time you have a short term, long term, or need for a highly skilled resource. We’ll quickly get your projects back on track without a lengthy job search, expensive consultant engagement, or involving Human Resources if it’s not necessary. All you need to do is call us, give us the scenario, and choose the option you believe best aligns with your situation. We then sync-up to create a work plan and the Blackbaud Works manager does the rest.

We offer the flexibility of filling a short term need, a long term commitment, or a simple month-to-month plan — whichever option best works for your organization at the time.

How do I decide what I need?

We’ve tried to make it easy for you to determine what resources you need and when. We have three programs set up to cover the needs your organization may have. If you don’t see exactly what you need, let’s talk about your work plan—and then we’ll create one specific to your organization.

How long does it take to get up and running?

It will take less than five business days before you sit down with your Blackbaud Works manager to review your project. Within in 48 hours of committing to using Blackbaud Works resources, you’ll hear from a manager to set up the project kickoff meeting and you’ll be on your way.

How do I keep up with how my project is progressing?

Once a month, you’ll have a Blackbaud Works project update where you, your Blackbaud Work’s manager and your Blackbaud Work’s resource will review the completed projects as well as the yet outstanding projects. This update could be a short phone call, written report, or any other format delivered the way that works best for you and your schedule.
