Michael Gianoni

President and Chief Executive Officer

Michael (Mike) Gianoni

Mike Gianoni is President and CEO of Blackbaud, Inc. (NASDAQ: BLKB), a leading technology company that powers the business of philanthropy for its more than 30,000 nonprofit customers around the world. An experienced IT services executive, Mike’s interest in technology was sparked in high school when he took his first engineering class. Today, with degrees in both engineering and business – as well as an MBA and Honorary Doctorate from the University of New Haven – Mike has a successful track record of strong operational management of IT businesses that deliver value for customers, shareholders and employees.

A first-generation American with a passion for veterans’ initiatives, animal welfare (especially dogs), and exploring the U.S. coastline either by sailboat or motorcycle, Mike is an advocate for corporate cultures that encourage employees to thrive professionally and personally while accomplishing strong top-line growth.

Mike joined Blackbaud from Fiserv, Inc., a global provider of financial services technology solutions, where he was executive vice president and group president of the Financial Institutions Group. Previously, he was president of Fiserv’s Investment Services division, executive vice president and general manager of CheckFree Investment Services, and the leader of numerous divisions at DST, where he focused on developing new platforms and ensuring stronger operational controls. He currently serves on the board of directors for University of New Haven and Teradata and is a former member of the board of directors for LibertyHealth System (New Jersey) and the American Red Cross Southeast County (Massachusetts).

Anthony Boor

Chief Financial Officer, and Executive Vice President of Finance and Administration

Anthony (Tony) Boor

Tony Boor joined Blackbaud as its Chief Financial Officer in November 2011. Tony is responsible for Blackbaud's financial reporting and controls, corporate IT, legal, and administrative services. Prior to joining the company, he served as an executive with Brightpoint, Inc. beginning in 1999, most recently as its executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer. He also served as the interim president of Europe, Middle East and Africa during the company’s significant restructuring of that region. Tony served as director of business operations for Brightpoint North America from August 1998 to July 1999. Prior to joining Brightpoint, Tony was employed in various financial positions with Macmillan Computer Publishing, Inc., Day Dream Publishing, Inc., Ernst & Young LLP, Expo New Mexico, KPMG LLP and Ernst & Whinney LLP. He received his bachelor's degree in accounting from New Mexico State University. A dedicated servant leader, he serves on the board of directors of the Lord’s Pantry at Anna’s House and is a former board member of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.

Brian Boruff

Executive Vice President, and President of Enterprise Customers Business Unit

Brian Boruff

Brian Boruff is President of the Enterprise Business Unit, leading sales, marketing, services, support, analytics and solution innovation specifically designed for the company’s largest nonprofit customers. He has more than 32 years of experience operating at the forefront of major transformational changes that have shaped the IT software and services Industry. Beginning at Hewlett-Packard in 1982 during the mini-computer era; 9 years at Apple during the PC revolution; 15 years as a senior executive at Microsoft; and the past 7 years forming and leading software business units at CSC, Accenture and Infosys, Brian has been able to identify and then capitalize on IT trends and technologies. At Microsoft, he spent 15 years in various software sales and services delivery leadership roles, including founder and leader of the Communications Sector Group across EMEA (based in Paris) and vice president of US Enterprise Services, a $1.2 Billion consulting and software support division responsible for providing mission-critical product support, consulting services, systems integration and cloud applications to enterprise and public sector clients across the US. Brian serves on the board of Certified Security Solutions, a leading Microsoft solution partner, and has advised many early stage companies such as Cumulux and Opstera on their growth and M&A strategies. He was awarded the prestigious Bill Gates Chairman’s Award in 2003, one of Microsoft’s top honors, in recognition for his work building and leading EMEA’s Network Service Provider and Mobility division. Brian is active in Young Life and other philanthropic efforts focused on the development and growth of our youth.

Kevin Mooney

Executive Vice President, and President of General Markets Business Unit

Kevin Mooney

Kevin W. Mooney is President of the General Markets Business Unit at Blackbaud, with responsibility for the marketing, sales, services and support of more than 23,000 customers. He joined the company from Travelport GDS, one of the world's largest travel conglomerates with operations in 145 countries, where he served as chief commercial officer responsible for global sales, marketing, product management, service and support activities. Previously, Kevin was the chief financial officer for Worldspan (acquired by Travelport), which provided transaction processing and IT services to the travel industry. He has also held executive positions in the telecommunications industry including chief executive officer, chief operating officer and chief financial officer of Cincinnati Bell and Broadwing, Inc. A graduate of Seton Hall University with an MBA in Finance from Georgia State University, he is a past board member of tw telecom and currently serves on the board of Level 3 Communications, a Fortune 500 provider of enterprise communications services. He also serves on the board of directors of the Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University and Ashley Hall School.

Brad Holman

Executive Vice President, and President of International Business Unit

Brad Holman

Brad Holman joined Blackbaud as Executive Vice President, and President of International Business Unit in September 2010. Brad leads Blackbaud's international operations including Blackbaud's England, Hong Kong, Australia, and Netherlands offices, as well as all international business development activities. Previously, he held a number of senior level executive roles in building and leading organizations across international markets, providing technology services to the Aviation and Travel Sectors. Brad most recently partnered in his own company that provided both technical and outsourcing services to these sectors and prior to that was the president and managing director, Asia Pacific for Travelport, a company that provides travel distribution technology services on a global platform. Brad held several roles with Travelport during his nine years with the company including managing director for Europe Middle East and Africa based in London and also senior vice president for airline services based in Hong Kong. Brad, who is now based in Sydney, holds a bachelor of commerce degree from the University of Western Australia.

Charlie Cumbaa

Executive Vice President of
Corporate and Product Strategy

Charlie Cumbaa

Charlie Cumbaa is Executive Vice President of Corporate and Product Strategy, leading the company’s strategic planning and growth initiatives. During his tenure, he has also served as president of the Enterprise Business Unit and led the company’s mergers and acquisitions activities. Previously, Charlie served as an executive vice president with Intertech Information Management and president and chief executive officer of Cognitech, Inc., a software company he founded. Earlier in his career, he was employed by McKinsey & Company. Cumbaa holds a BA from Mississippi State University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is a member of the board of directors of ARMCO, a privately held company that provides outsourced services for hospital billing and reimbursement, and Dexter-Chaney a privately held software company that provides ERP solutions to the construction industry. A committed member of the community, he serves on the board of directors of the Pi Kappa Alpha Foundation and previously served on the boards of the Charleston Symphony Orchestra and East Cooper Habitat for Humanity.

Kevin McDearis

Executive Vice President of
Research, Delivery and Operations

Kevin McDearis

As Executive Vice President, Research, Delivery and Operations for Blackbaud, Kevin McDearis is responsible for strategy development, innovation, and engineering of the company’s global portfolio of products supporting the nonprofit industry; working the globe with business and technical teams to develop innovative and reliable solutions that exceed quality and performance requirements. Prior to joining Blackbaud, he served as Chief Information Officer for Manhattan Associates, Inc., where he oversaw strategy development and service delivery for the company’s global IT infrastructure. Before Manhattan Associates, he served as Chief Technology Officer for the Enterprise Technology Group at Fiserv where he was responsible for solutions architecture and engineering. Kevin is a seasoned executive with more than 27 years of information technology experience in the financial services, ecommerce, and supply chain industries with a successful track record partnering with business leaders to plan, develop, and implement industry-leading information technology solutions to meet or exceed revenue, cost, and shareholder value objectives. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science from Georgia Institute of Technology, currently sits as the vice chairman of the board & executive council member for Technology Association of Georgia, is an advisory board member for Georgia CIO Leadership Association, and is also member of Association of Telecommunications Professionals.

John Mistretta

Executive Vice President of
Human Resources

John Mistretta

As the Executive Vice President of Human Resources, John Mistretta is responsible for leadership development and talent management at Blackbaud. A seasoned business executive, Mistretta has led human resource and training organizations throughout his 25-year career. Most recently, he was executive vice president of human resources and alternative businesses for the National Commerce Financial Corporation (now SunTrust). Previously, he spent 14 years at Citicorp, which at the time of his tenure was recognized as one of the leading human resource organizations in the world. Mistretta has been active with numerous nonprofits and community groups, including the Durham (North Carolina) Technical Community College Foundation and the Durham Workforce Development Board. He earned a bachelor's degree and a master's degree from the State University of New York at Oswego. A professional committed to career development for underserved populations, John serves on the Tri-County Cradle to Career Collaborative Community Leadership Council.

Catherine LaCour

Senior Vice President of
Corporate Marketing

Catherine LaCour

Bringing 18 years of leadership experience to this role, Catherine LaCour is Senior Vice President of Corporate Marketing, responsible for Blackbaud’s global brand, corporate communications, public relations, event strategy, marketing services, and other strategic functions in order to catalyze new growth, accelerate innovation and deliver an outstanding customer experience. She joined Blackbaud in 2009 serving as the company’s director of channel marketing for its Enterprise Business Unit, while also serving as a member of its Global Management Team. Before joining Blackbaud, Catherine was the vice president of marketing and product management at Regent Education, a software provider in the higher education space, where she led branding, marketing communications, demand generation, sales enablement, product direction and customer experience initiatives. Prior to Regent, she served in other various marketing leadership roles, including overseeing marketing and public relations practices for a consulting firm that served the public and private sector. Catherine has a Bachelor of Science from the College of Charleston and a Master of Business Administration from American Graduate School of International Management; after receiving her MBA, she worked in Africa for the International Telecommunications Union, an arm of the United Nations. She currently sits on the College of Charleston Graduate School’s Advisory Board.

Chuck L. Longfield

Senior Vice President, Chief Scientist

Chuck Longfield

Chuck Longfield became Blackbaud's Chief Scientist in January 2007 and is the founder of Target Software, Inc. and Target Analysis Group, Inc., both now Blackbaud companies. Longfield has extensive experience designing and implementing national as well as international constituency databases that address the fundraising information needs at many of the world's largest nonprofit organizations. In recognition of his accomplishments, Chuck is the recipient of the DMA 2012 Max Hart Nonprofit Achievement Award. Prior to founding the Target companies in 1992, Longfield taught math to middle and high school students. He was honored by FundRaising Success in 2007 with a lifetime achievement award for his contribution to the nonprofit sector. He holds a BA in mathematics and a MEd from Harvard University and has more than 30 years of experience helping nonprofits effectively use technology and information to improve their fundraising performance. Chuck turns his professional commitment to philanthropy into personal action through dedicated board service with the WGBH Educational Foundation, Mt. Auburn Hospital, Lesley University and the Longfield Family Foundation.

Mary Beth Westmoreland

Senior Vice President of
Product Development

Mary Beth Westmoreland

Mary Beth Westmoreland is Senior Vice President of Product Development, responsible for product architecture, product engineering, quality assurance engineering, user experience and user education teams. She started with Blackbaud in 2008 and has over 25 years of experience in software engineering and product development. Prior to joining Blackbaud, Mary Beth was Vice President of Research and Development at Ipswitch, Inc. where she led product development for the company’s entire product portfolio, including the WS_FTP family of products and WhatsUp Gold Network Monitoring and IMail Server product suites. Before Ipswitch, Mary Beth spent 15 years at the Savannah River National Laboratory where she started as a programmer and eventually managed the company’s Enterprise and Technical Systems Engineering organizations. Mary Beth graduated with a degree in Mathematics and Physics from Immaculata University located near Philadelphia, PA. She is a member of the board of directors of the South Carolina chapter of the Make-a-Wish Foundation and is actively involved in a variety of STEM programs and Women in Technology initiatives.

Jon Olson

Senior Vice President and
General Counsel

Jon Olson

Jon Olson joined Blackbaud as Senior Vice President & General Counsel in September 2008. Jon is responsible for Blackbaud's legal activities, including negotiating transactions, managing corporate governance activities and legal compliance. Before joining the company, he was an attorney with Alcatel-Lucent. Prior to joining Alcatel-Lucent, Jon was employed in legal positions with MCI, Unisys and in private practice. He received his BS from Georgetown University, JD from Dickinson School of Law and MBA from Seton Hall University. Jon is a member of the MUSC (Medical University of South Carolina) Hollings Cancer Center Citizens Advisory Council and is on the board of the Charleston Regional Alliance for The Arts.

Stephen Halleck

Business Operations

Stephen Halleck

Steve Halleck is Blackbaud’s Senior Vice President of Business Operations responsible for driving customer satisfaction through operational excellence and quality improvement. Steve has extensive experience enhancing organizational capabilities and driving improved business results. Prior to joining Blackbaud, Steve served as senior vice president, group operations, Financial Institutions Group at Fiserv, Inc. a leading global provider of financial services technology solutions. In this position, he was accountable for leading seven unique businesses in the areas of business planning, operational best practices, quality improvement and strategic initiative execution. Prior to that, Steve served in a variety of software engineering, quality assurance, and operational maturity roles throughout his 32 year career in technology services at Fiserv, CheckFree, and Wachovia Bank.

Steve holds a BBA in Information Systems degree from the University of Georgia. He is currently a Partner with Social Venture Partners of Charleston, a network of engaged philanthropists who collectively invest their expertise and resources in mission-driven nonprofits to achieve sustainable, measurable impact.
