Management Profiles

Charles L. Longfield

Chuck Longfield has served as our Chief Scientist since January 2007 and is the founder of Target Software, Inc. and Target Analysis Group, Inc., Blackbaud companies. Chuck has extensive experience designing and implementing national as well as international constituency databases, and addressing the information needs at many of the world's largest not-for-profit organizations. Chuck is certified to teach secondary school mathematics and, prior to founding the Target companies in 1992, taught math to middle and high school students. Chuck is also Fundraising Success Magazine's 2007 Fundraising Professional of the Year recipient for Lifetime Achievement in an agency. He holds a B.A. in Mathematics and a M.Ed. from Harvard University, and has over 25 years of experience helping not-for-profits automate their fundraising operations.

Lee Gartley

Lee Gartley is the President of Target Software and Target Analysis Group and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of both Target companies. Since joining the company in 1998, Lee has been instrumental in the company's rapid growth and in the development and launch of a number of innovative products and services, including the creation of the Target cooperative database - the industry's largest database of philanthropic giving. From 1996-1998, Lee was a senior marketer with Art Technology Group where he helped to launch an online commerce platform. From 1992-1996 he was a management consultant with Boston Consulting Group working with clients in a variety of industries to develop and implement sound strategy. A common theme across all of these endeavors has been an interest in targeted marketing and how technology and tools can help organizations achieve their goals. Lee holds a BA in Physics from Bowdoin College and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

Leslie Anderson

Leslie Anderson has been the Controller for Target Software since 1996. Leslie oversees all financial operations, human resource activities, physical environment planning, and all basic business office operations. Prior to joining Target, Leslie was the Business Manager at Opera Systems. She earned her Bachelors of Commerce Degree from St. Mary's University and her MBA from Dalhousie University, both in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Wendy Fox

Wendy Fox is Vice President of Data Management Services, and her responsibilities include business analysis, transitioning clients from implementation to production, providing production support and consulting services (including managing database servers and environments), and overall account management for service bureau clients. Prior to joining Target, Wendy worked at Epsilon for nearly 10 years. As a Senior Account Director, she was responsible for all aspects of client relationships, including serving as the primary client contact and team leader, integrating products and services, and monitoring client satisfaction. In addition, she managed the marketing databases for clients such as AARP, Special Olympics, American Cancer Society, and March of Dimes. Her most recent position was at the W. A. Wilde Company, where she served as Director of Account Services. There she managed the Financial and Emerging Markets teams, managing fully integrated database solutions on behalf of their clients. Wendy received her BS in Computer Science and English from Union College.

Vicki Ann Frawley

Vicki Ann Frawley is the Vice President of Operations at Target Software, Inc. Vicki joined Target Software in 1993 as an Application Developer with a focus on programming the user interface. She supervised the original design and development of the Major Giving, Customer Service, and Planned Giving modules of Team Approach. Vicki then moved into Implementations where she was responsible for all implementation procedures, data conversions, and configuration consulting services of Target Software. From there, Vicki became the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, focusing on the sales, marketing, and account management efforts for Team Approach. In July 2004, Vicki assumed the position of Vice President of Operations. In this role, she oversees and supports training and documentation, technical support, consulting, sales, and relationship management. She's a Mass High Tech's 2005 Women to Watch recipient, one of 10 New England-based women in technology fields recognized as future leaders and innovators. Vicki holds a BS in Mathematics from Georgetown University and a Masters in Administrative Studies from Boston University.

Anita-Marie Gokey

Anita-Marie is Vice President of Strategic Relationship Management at Target Software, Inc. In her current role Ms. Gokey works closely with clients to understand their strategic objectives and identify opportunities for process and service improvements. Ms. Gokey has been with Target since 1998, and her most recent role was as Vice President of Client Services. Prior to joining Target, she worked for 12 years as the senior fundraising officer for both a local and national non profit. She holds a BA from University of Vermont and an MBA from the F. W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College.

Beth Isikoff

Beth Isikoff is Vice President of Sales at Target Software and has worked in the nonprofit environment for 23 years. Prior to joining Target, Beth was at the Arthritis Foundation for 17 years where she spearheaded the transformation of the organization's technical and business environment to a customer-focused, market-driven enterprise. She has held positions such as Director, Membership Marketing, Vice President of Database Marketing and recently Group Vice President of Customer Relationship Management. Her expertise is in membership marketing, circulation fulfillment (ABC and BPA audits), DRTV, telemarketing, database strategic marketing and analysis, list management, product fulfillment, association management, business analysis and change management. Beth brings to Target Software firsthand knowledge and experience of implementing and using Team Approach in a multi-faceted, sophisticated nationwide organization. Beth received her BA from Chatham College in Pennsylvania and her MA from Denver University in Colorado. She is a frequent speaker in the industry on database and customer relationship management.

Terry Krais

Terry Krais is Vice President of Sales at Target Software, specializing in selling Team Approach and Data Management Services to the public broadcasting industry. Terry joined the Target Companies in 1998 as Director of Fundraising Services, and later Vice President, Sales and Account Management for Target Analysis Group, working with the public broadcasting sector in both roles. Terry has worked in non-profit fundraising in a variety of roles, including Membership Director at WCNY-TV/FM, and positions at Amergent and DMW Direct. She graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Telecommunications (TV/Radio) Management from The S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. Outside of Target, Terry volunteers at client pledge drives and at a local elementary school, assisting teachers in their classrooms and tutoring students.

Sharyn Morris

Sharyn oversees the management of new implementations, development and delivery of training courses, and the production of all Team Approach documentation. Sharyn leads teams that work directly with our clients to ensure that they are getting the most out of the application. These teams consult with clients to standardize and document business practices, to bring new programs onto the Team Approach system, and to roll Team Approach out to field or chapter offices. Additionally, Sharyn works with our clients to secure partnerships on specific initiatives to improve the Team Approach application and facilitates the design and development efforts. During her nine-year tenure at Target, Sharyn has worked with virtually all of our clients in some capacity, but specializes in consulting on using Team Approach for Major Gift fundraising and Planned Giving. She earned her BA in Economics from the University of Virginia.

Michelle O'Connell

Michelle M. O'Connell has been with Target Software since November of 1997. Michelle has held the position of Vice President of Technical Services since January 2003, and currently oversees the User Support, Application Development, Systems/DBA Support, and Technical Consulting areas. Michelle has worked at TSI as a conversion programmer, Oracle Forms developer, and is currently working on managing development and support services around Classic Team Approach. Michelle Earned her Masters from Ohio State University, and her Bachelors from Holy Cross College.

William H. Stansbury III

William Stansbury joined Chuck and Andy as a founder of Target Software, Inc. in 1993 and is currently the Vice President of Database Technology. In his role, he is responsible for the management of production, data conversions and technical projects for the Data Management Services division, which provides database hosting services for Team Approach clients. William has also served TSI as the Vice President of Software Development and Support, responsible for the design, development, QA, maintenance and technical support of Team Approach. He has over 20 years of experience in the design and support of database systems, much of it in the not-for-profit arena. William has also served as an instructor in the Executive IT Management department at Columbia University, where he taught a workshop course on Software Development Management and Database Management. He holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
